Sushi Kudasai is a local Japanese restaurant based in Seattle and it has 4 locations in both Seattle and Bellevue. As the sole visual designer, I developed brand identity from concepts to execution for Sushi Kudasai with graphic design and illustrations.
At Sushi Kudasai, I’ve conducted photoshoots to create food visual assets for the menu and the online delivery companies’ websites that increased the revenue growth up to 400%. I’ve designed 50+ online and in-store materials including both printed and digital menu, brochures, social banners and posters, and managed all aspects of creation from photo shoots all the way to the final editing.

These are several menus I created for Sushi Kudasai seasonal specials. Similar to other projects, I did everything from the initial photo taking all the way to the final designs.
01. COVID 19 Mask Poster
Due to the risk of COVID 19 spread, masks are required for both customers and employees, especially when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. I designed the mask posters using the restaurant theme for use in the stores.
02. Sushi Kudasai Character Design
To enhance the brand identity of the menu and posters, I designed the Sushi Kudasai character by using its logo composed of blue and red fish. Since the signature menu is special sushi roll, I used each fish in the design of the special roll to give a feeling of sushi roll.
03. Sum Style with More Taste
The poster was created for the pop-up event, "Sum Style with More Taste" collaborated with a few local Seattle vendors including Sushi Kudasai in 2020. To advertise the restaurant, I created the package label used for the to-go orders.
