Nice to meet you.

I'm Jeongmin Sitzes!

I'm a digital designer, artist, gamer, coffee addict, and plant lover based in Seattle. I draw on my visual and UX design background to create captivating and functional products that truly meet the users' needs.

My artistic beginnings and a new life in Seattle.

Back in early 2017, I moved to Seattle and started life as a professional visual designer and digital illustrator working on fashion, commissioned crafts, marketing and branding designs.
I loved to create digital artwork that was visually and emotionally pleasing, and brand guidelines that were infused with fresh and unique design thought.

Meet the world of technology.

However, as I settled down in my new state, I quickly became enamored by the world of technology in Seattle. I met a lot of developers and designers and instantly felt the excitement in the air of the potential that technology and entrepreneurism could bring to enthusiastic and energetic designers like me. As a visual designer, I knew I wanted to become a part of this movement.
Since then, I chose UI/UX design as my career path so I could leverage my diverse design skill set with technology that I haven’t looked back!

Adventure into UI/UX design.

After I completed my UI/UX journey at School of Visual Concepts in 2020, I have had opportunities to work with clients on exciting projects such as Duwamish iMap and Vizlator, and successfully converted user problems and clients’ goals into cohesive solutions and joyful interactions. As a product designer, I also worked on “Kollabo”, a Korean community mobile app where I lead the research and design process for both iOS and Android platforms from concept to development, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to make the Kollabo app as a friendly and supportive product as possible.

I'm an inclusive designer now!

After leaving my previous work at Amazon, I’m currently working at Microsoft as a product designer to create better user experience in eSports/gaming area inside the WXC team. Please check out how my design and problem-solving skills contribute to Microsoft products.

What I do for fun...

When I’m not designing, I love to draw and animate digital illustrations & vector arts to create experimental and captivating GIFs. A lot of my personal work is about my silly but cute characters, Llullu Llama and Macho Cacti. Also, I'm an avid Nintendo and VR gamer, a geek for webtoons (a type of digital comic originating in Korea) and Japanese comics, as well as coffee addict and plant aficionado.
